I should have brought a wheel with tyre along on Sunday fo a quick change over.... Is it because the slick is not warm enough so not getting traction?

Good job Ken. What was your conclusion about what was causing the problem. Was it a single thing or a combination?

It is still weak off the needle. I really feel the dynojet needle is causing the problems I used a mikuni mainjet because its between two sizes of dynojet main I was trying. Dynojet do not do an alternate needle. Anyhoo although it may run better with standard needles and an airbox the dyno is now shut for a week and I am running out of time. The bike requires finishing and the classic bike need to be redied.
Too much to do too little time.
Although the bike is a tad lean at the bottom I can not feel it on the dyno, it revs like crazy so fast lets hope it runs as well over on the Isle of Man...not long now...one more week at work

That looks very good to me. The torque is good and coming in at the right place. If you've got a shift light set it about 10500 and you'll drop right back onto max torque and lift the front wheel in 3rd You'll probably feel a slight hesitation in 5th and 6th going through that flat spot @ 9600 but it shouldn't be too bad. Anything below 8000rpm doesn't matter unless you make a mistake Good on yer.
